  1. The normal rules of Diplomacy apply except as amended below.

  2. Clyde, Wales, and Yorkshire are home supply centers for England (in addition to London, Liverpool, and Edinburgh).

  3. England begins the game with an army located in each of its six home supply centers. For any English unit to leave the home island, it must be convoyed by a foreign fleet.

  4. Due to the additional three supply centers, the victory condition is nineteen (19) centers.
Design Notes

This variant was designed by Bruce McIntyre and Danny Loeb. McIntyre initially referred to the variant as the McInTinker variant (a combination of his own surname with that of Don Tinker), saying that the variant reflected Tinker's ability to get anything he wanted, and McIntyre's own susceptibility to granting it.
