What happens when you revive a Facebook page that lay dormant for years? We did just that with The Diplomatic Pouch page. It's like a Pandora box. Within the shortest time span we're engaging with a real public, not just the small core that fills these pages. New plans take shape built on old and hidden gems we had forgotten existed. To make it even more worthwhile, I encourage you to like our page, so that you're kept up to date of what's happening there and can chime in yourself. It's Facebook, everyone's on it. You too, right? It's been eighteen years (the sacred number) since Manus & co came up with a number of crazily hilarious Christmas carol spoofs in the DP W1997A Zine. Thanks to Julius Flywheel on Facebook for reminding us. Can we do better? Sure enough, we'll devote a whole special to spoofs and other goofiness. The serious stuff (ahem) can wait till the regular issue scheduled for a week later. Enjoy Christmas and the Pouch!
