Pouch Deposits

The Editor and the Readership

Here's the Mail

As always, we offer our (modest amount of) mail for public perusal. However, we need more! Please feel free to write — we're always happy to hear from our cherished readers!

Mail Received Concerning
The Pouch 'Zine

From Leif Bergman (galifir_51@hotmail.com):

Very happy to see DP again, been a while since I was involved in the game but planning to make a comeback at WDC Austria 2008. Hope to see some of the old faces there, Edi, Manus and others I played with in the past.

Yours truly,

Leif Bergman

[Hey, Leif! I cannot say how great it is to hear from you! But whose face are you calling "old"?? --Pub.]

Mail Received Concerning
The Sealion Opening

From Robert Marshall (robert.marshall@staffordshire.gov.uk):

Congrats on the Sealion opening — England Beware!

I would like to add some of my thoughts to the "Diplomacy Library". Who would you suggest that I send the articles to?

Also, do you have any idea of any group of people who play ftf on a vaguely regular basis — apart from conferences?

Yours optimistically,

Robert (ever trustworthy…) Marshall

Well, you can always send your articles to me, at editor@diplom.org! Or if you have something specifically for the Library of Diplomacy Openings, that's maintained by Manus Hand (manus@manushand.com). We're always happy to hear from our readers!

As for face-to-face play, the Pouch hosts an entire section dedicated to upcoming tournaments, regional clubs, and other opportunities to play the game with others. Be sure to check it out.

Well, there you have it. Another Deposits column. Yep, it sure is.
